Every suite is built to be as close to the same as possible — the same imaging, the same technology, the same patient controls — so there’s no “good room” and no room anyone dreads. The only intended difference is theme and name: each is named for a field of science and a mind who moved it forward, wrapped in original art drawn from the Molar Town palette.

The build, underneath the art
Under the wonder, an instrument.
The suites live inside a former bank at 23890 Novi Road — a building designed from day one to protect what’s valuable. We kept the spirit and rebuilt the contents. Every decision below is already in the specification set our build team works from, documented room by room, down to the outlet.
Enclosed and soundproofed
Real walls, real doors that close, sound isolation in the construction. Privacy here is built with framing and insulation — not implied by a curtain.
Identical by specification
Same chair, same imaging, same technology, same layout in all six suites. There is no “good room.” The theme on the walls is the only variable — everything clinical is a constant.
Controls at the chair
Lighting, music, and temperature are yours to set from where you sit. The room adapts to the patient, not the other way around.
The recessed tech wall
Equipment lives in a built-in wall behind lockable glass — present when it’s needed, invisible when it’s not. Calm rooms for people, secured storage for technology.
Unit-dose, every time
Supplies are opened fresh for each patient — a per-visit sterile workflow written into the operating standard, not left to habit.
Companion seating, built in
A real seat for the person you bring is in the floor plan of every suite. Support isn’t an accommodation here — it’s a design requirement.

Every decision here is a conversation — you, your dentist, and whoever you want in your corner, second opinions included. Take the plan home, sit with it, talk it over. The math doesn’t change based on how fast you say yes.
Why we’re different on purpose
Independent, on purpose.
Molar Town is an independent practice. We never signed the insurance-network contracts that force shorter visits, compressed materials, and volume schedules — so every clinical decision here is made between you and your dentist, with no third party in the room.
Your benefits can still help: we hand you a complete coded superbill plus your imaging and notes after every visit, and as a courtesy we submit out-of-network claims whenever possible — so reimbursement comes straight back to you.
For the technical reader
One specification. Six instances. A practice that doubles as a testbed.
Molar Town is engineered the way good hardware is: specified, versioned, and built to replicate. Suite 1 is the product; Suites 2 through 6 are proof the product replicates. The same decisions that make it better for patients make it a genuinely rare thing in medicine — a controlled environment for clinical data.
Standardize
Identical suites and one imaging protocol mean every scan is captured in the same geometry, on the same equipment, under the same conditions. Consistency isn’t a policy here — it’s poured into the walls.
Consent
Patients own their records, and nothing enters the research layer without permission. The Ground Truth dataset for oral health is being built ethically from day one — visit by visit, with consent as the front door, not the fine print.
Translate
DentalDNA, the patient-understanding layer, turns clinician-approved findings from exactly these visits into plain language a patient can actually use. It’s an early-stage prototype built by a dentist — and it’s not hypothetical formatting.

Meet the founder
Hi — I’m Dr. Diana McQuirter.
I was born and raised in Detroit and trained at the University of Michigan, where my path into dentistry started in a research lab studying oral cancer — learning to look closely, question everything, and never settle for “probably fine” when the evidence can tell you more. I’ve spent over a decade chairside since, and somewhere along the way I fell in love with imaging, systems thinking, and the math behind how everything fits together.
I’m building Molar Town because I noticed something I couldn’t ignore: today’s dental technology is incredible, but the way most offices organize around it is fragile and rushed. Patients still experience dentistry as mystery and fear, while clinicians carry the burnout. My work lives in that gap.
